We have a great tradition of eccentricity(?) within the realms of our "septic isle",created on the whole by the
masses as a way to excuse individuality rather than persecute it,well,it was nicer, wasnt it?Anyway, maybe.. just maybe,we
can all regain that individuality,rebel against the game theory,and if we celebrate it through creativity instead of
destruction, we will return to freedom of expression,freedom of thought and eventually we will lose that most destructive
of states, that of denial!.....just a thought....we are true creatures of habitat...
With the advent of digital photography and photographic manipulation programmes, creating original artworks has been
overlooked by those purists,who still insist that "the image should be created in front of the lens", to those, i say, that
in all art, the image is "created" in the artists imagination, and therefore all the tools availiable to the modern
artists can and should be used to express an original idea.Trying to stay in the "purist camp" is very honourable, but alas,
i feel that it is the equivilant of trying to hold back the tide.Art is ART, all mediums are acceptable, and as the old
addage goes "Art is subjective,and appreciated and understood "in the eye of the beholder".....or such like(?)..if
it looks good, feels good and does you good...bring it on..
we are what we want....
There is a certain isolation in understanding that everyone else sees things slightly differently,but
not in a way you thought you ever would,or ever could!Celebrate the way you live your life, its the only one you
have got...oh, and be good to your body...what goes around comes around..
